Meet Tiffany of Fair Trade Family:

Four active boys with me all the time. Virtual Schooling and Dog Training. Stocking my Etsy Store and Hyenacart. Twittering and Facebooking. Joining Teams and Checking Google Analytics. Training to be the last to the finish for the third year running at the Whisky Row Half Marathon. Sometimes I feel worn out before noon.

But, I would never trade this life. I make conscious choices every single day to not only seek out replenishing positive influences, but to BE a positive replenishing influence in the lives of others.

Mini Monday – Yarn Miracle

Etsy: Your place to buy & sell all things handmade
yarnmiracle.etsy.com

Meet  Emily of Yarn Miracle:

I feed and pick up after six cats, one toddler and Michael Ivey. In between I knit.

Between nine years of constant knitting, a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and a two-year-old of my own, I’ve developed a skill set that is uniquely suited to toy making. Each of my animals is created with the structure and durability needed for a stuffed playmate coupled with enough good looks and charm to please the eye and warm the heart. I use natural, sustainable and humanely grown fibers and fillings to create conscious, comfortable, eco-friendly companions.

Yarn Miracle specializes in Companion Animal Placement. The best selling Cotton Companions are hand knit from organically grown cotton and fed a healthy diet of organic cotton batting. Itty Bitty Buddies, made entirely from organic cotton, are great little playmates for young and old.  Luxury Companions are identified by sustainable fiber type and filled with either organic cotton or eco wool. All my animals have been fostered in a smoke-free home and encouraged to take an interest in a variety of subjects. Well-rounded animals are happy animals.

Mini Monday – Fairy Folk

Meet  Donni of Fairy Folk:

II grew up in South Africa… a lovely, natural childhood surrounded by animals and wilderness. I have lived in many different countries, Ireland, England, New Zealand and now finally America where we have settled at last. I have a loving Kiwi husband and two gorgeous children.

Crafting is how I reconnect with myself. It is the language of my soul and spoken often. I came to needle felting only recently and have fallen in love with all of it… the sound of the needle in the wool, the smell of the wool, the feeling of my creation in my hands. I am so grateful for the wide range and color of the wool I can work with… it makes anything possible.

Mini Monday – Cute Little Thing

Etsy: Your place to buy & sell all things handmade
cutelittlething.etsy.com

Meet Roseann of Cute Little Thing   :

“Do what you loved to do when you were 8 years old, for that is your true passion!”

Well, here I am, in my 40th year, doing just that, creating, making, playing, imagining, and oh how much fun it is! It is in this year that my daughter, my true teacher, turns 8.

This is no accident. So it is in her 8th year and my 40th that we share this wonderful thing called life in an abundant, grateful and creative way. In the exact same moment she rolls out of bed she starts to create something.

I look at her and say “she’s got something there” So I let the dishes pile in the sink and the leave the dust bunnies in their secret hiding places and create. I dedicate all my work to my daughter, who has changed my life forever and has opened my eyes to living a healthier, more natural life

Each handmade “cute little thing” is lovingly made with care and natural materials.  All stuffed “things” are all double sewn for the best quality and are firmly stuffed with 100% sheep’s *Eco-wool* which retains a lovely warmth of one who holds it.

Mini Monday – Imogen’s Garden

Etsy: Your place to buy & sell all things handmade
ImogensGarden.etsy.com

Meet  Anna of  Imogen’s Garden   :

I began crafting at an early age and come from a long line of potters, carpenters, and, well, crafters. I remember vividly watching my parents, grandparents and uncles create things with their hands and still own many of their pieces. Having ownership of something they made from scratch is very like holding a tangible piece of them and makes my heart very happy.

I taught myself to sew when my boys were little. Eventually a good friend of mine taught me the finer points of sewing children’s clothing and a passion was ignited. I get bored easily, but I have used this to my advantage. I am constantly learning something new.

Dolls, in their many forms, fascinate me with their ability to connect with people…both children and adults. They are my newest pleasure, and you will find a growing assortment in my shops. I think all children should have access to dolls that look just like them…and have a variety of others to choose from, so that we teach them about our amazingly diverse world.

Meet Kat of Kats in the Belfry

I homeschool my hobbity boy, whilst trying not to fall asleep due to the night adventures of my new bébé. All my free (hahaha) time is spent creating things that make me smile.

I enjoy making toys that inspire creative play. All creations are made from natural materials: fabric, wood, felt, paper. I strive to make things that spark the imagination, feel good in their hands, & are just plain pretty. When possible i use reclaimed fabric, bits, & bobs.
