Tools of Trade: Washboard for Wet Felting

Remember my post about my journey with felting? I recently tought myself how to wetfelt. Most of the things I needed I had at home already. Soap, hot water, old towels, roving. What was missing was one of those cool washboards for agitating the wool.

Luckily I finally got a hold of one.

You can read the story of how I came across it here.

  1. Permission to Use a Photo

Hello. I apologize for getting in touch this way. I wasn’t sure how else to do it. My organization (Baltimore Food & Faith Project of the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future) is developing a curriculum for kids aged 5 to 11 years around environmental stewardship, healthy eating and gardening. One of the activities that we’re including is a seed walk – where the kids will go outside and see what sorts of seeds they can collect. We love the photo on your “Dried Flower Craft for Kids” blog posting of the two little girls walking in a field. We were wondering if we might please be able to use the photo, and if so, how would you like it credited? I think you can see my e-mail address for responding? If not, what is the best way to reach you?

Thanks so much for your help.

    1. Hi there,
Can you please contact me through my Etsyshop? I will discuss the matter with the NKTEAM since this photo belongs to a member who is no longer on the team.

      1. Sure. How do I do that? (Sorry. I don’t know how.)
